Lily began her career with General Electric in the Operations Management Leadership Program for supply chain management and manufacturing in the energy sector. After becoming a Global Commodity Manager for electronics, she created strategies for component shortages, component obsolescence and optimized product cost and delivery with supplier rationalization. With the introduction of new tariffs in 2016, Lily developed location strategies across all commodities for her division identifying the best cost regions for each part type. In 2020, she had to adapt these strategies in the face of supply disruptions due to the pandemic. Currently she is a Principal Consultant at aPriori Technologies helping OEMs manage these same supply chain challenges. The geopolitical landscape is changing faster than ever and she helps her clients use should cost modeling to identify the best cost regions for their products, enabling them to quickly make fact based decisions.
