Innovation is an inherently challenging and evolving concept, which makes it difficult to implement in a business environment. At a fortune 500 company, a supplier innovation program was established to create value by strengthening channels and partnerships among the supply base, engineering and commercial teams. This presentation will detail the company’s journey, including initial program design; exploring business challenges; selecting innovation proposals from 200 suppliers; and ultimately, a two-day educational Supplier Innovation Summit to strategize ongoing advancement.
