Description
Reverse logistics of reusable assets has sometimes been treated as a tactical afterthought, but not anymore. It is critically important that a complete supply chain account for the reverse flow of products and materials for the purpose of returns, repair, remanufacture, and/or reuse or recycling. Inefficiencies, capacities constraints, excess spend and shrink are just some of the challenges that can quickly arise without adequate attention. For Costa Farms and Satellite Logistics Group, continual improvement of reverse logistics is a strategic imperative. This session provides tips that will drive process efficiencies, along with advanced analytics and asset tracking, giving you a strategic understanding of how reverse logistics of reusable assets can become a competitive advantage. Presented at the 2019 ASCM Conference--Las Vegas, Nevada.
