Catalog: Presentations
Short name: Applying Technology to Reach the Last Mile in Global Health Supply Chains

Description

Leveraging technology for global health supply chains takes creative partnerships, innovative program design, an unyielding commitment to data visibility, and looking beyond the nuts and bolts of supply chain operations. In this session Jamey Butcher will share his experience from the USAID Global Health and Supply Chain Program—Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project procuring and distributing life-saving health commodities to millions of people in over 60 countries, the unique challenges operating our supply chain in the most challenging environments, and how we are leveraging emerging technologies to optimize the supply chain and achieve our mission efficiently and effectively. You will hear examples of innovative partnerships that are helping development interventions go the extra mile in some of the hardest-to-reach places to ensure health commodities reach those who need them. Presented at the 2019 ASCM Conference--Las Vegas, Nevada.
