Author Bio

Lora Cecere is the founder of the research firm Supply Chain Insights. She is co-author of the new books Bricks Matter and Metrics that Matter. She is also the author of the enterprise software blog Supply Chain Shaman. Lora has more than 30 years of diverse supply chain experience, and spent 9 years as an industry analyst with Gartner Group, AMR Research, and Altimeter Group. Prior to becoming a supply chain analyst she spent 15 years as a leader in the building of supply chain software at Manugistics and Descartes Systems Group, and several years as a supply chain practitioner at Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods, Clorox, and Dreyers Grand Ice Cream (now a division of Nestle).

Mark Strassman is the Chief Product Officer at project44, where he leads the company’s product strategy, design, and execution to deliver the next phase of growth, innovation, and application of AI for supply chain management. As a key member of the executive leadership team, Mark partners closely with Engineering and cross-functional leaders to advance a bold, customer-centric product vision that drives measurable business impact.

With over 20 years of executive leadership in product management, Mark has held senior roles at some of the most respected names in technology—including Adobe, Autodesk, Blackboard, BlueJeans, LogMeIn, and Malwarebytes. Most recently, he served as SVP of Product at Trellix.

Mark is known for transforming products into end-to-end solutions, guiding organizations through the transition from desktop to cloud, and pioneering the shift to agentic AI experiences. His leadership has consistently delivered triple-digit growth, sustainable competitive advantage, and dramatic improvements in customer satisfaction. He brings a unique ability to craft bold yet pragmatic product strategies that align teams around a shared North Star—anchored in execution, customer outcomes, and real-world results.

Mark holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from Brown University.
